Along with over 200,000 other people, I downloaded the Microsoft Office 2007 Beta 2 when it was released to the public the other day. In my job, I basically live in Word and Outlook, and as such was hesitant to install beta versions of these products. Nonetheless, I bit the bullet and did it, and overall my experience has been fairly good. Read more after the jump.

Fantastic trailer for the new Pac Man movie, coming this summer: Pac Man: The Movie
Also, check out the creator’s MySpace page here. Yes, that is the first and most probably last time I will ever link to MySpace… Gee I hate MySpace.
Sure Kent, I’ll play. Here are the instructions:
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open it to page 161.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence along with these instructions.
- Don’t search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what’s actually next to you.
My sentence is: “We’ve seen conditional statements and loop statements in this book already, and they were introduced in Chapter 1, but this is the chapter where we nail down all the facts on these statements.”
It’s a C++ book, and page 161 is the very early stages of the language. I haven’t picked up the book in years. What really makes me think, is the fact that I don’t have a non-fiction book in my office – maybe I should change that, and have a really great book at hand when I need some inspiration…
Ever need to justify owning a mobile phone? Hands down, this is the best reason I have ever seen.
No nudity or anything, but probably not safe for work nonetheless.

You know the worst thing about working from home? Even when you’re sick, you still feel compelled to work…
April Fool’s day is a Saturday this year (obviously), which is a great thing in my opinion. I feel really sorry for any company that actually needs to put out an announcement on April 1st of any year where that particular date falls during the week – no one would ever take it seriously…
Have you ever really wanted to mess up a T-Mobile Sidekick? These guys did just that…

I am desperately sorry about the lack of updates; I have been absolutely flat out with work. Rest assured though, my ‘to blog’ file is getting larger, and there will be updates VERY soon (like, today).
On the MobileBurn front, I am working on reviews for the Samsung D808 and P858, and should have those up later in the week. We should also have a Motorola SLVR review up very soon as well.
Anyway, back to the grind (as if I can really call my job that).
This was on digg (four times, apparently), so I’m sure EVERYONE has seen it, but none the less, if you missed it you absolutely have to watch this video describing the origin of Ctrl-Alt-Del.

This is freaky. Since going missing on Monday, Natasha Brown has been sending messages to her mother, Stella Brown, with small details of what is going on, such as:
“Help. I’m scared. I don’t know where I am. Someone was following me and I just don’t remember what happened. I just woke up in a basement. I’m scared.”
Sends a chill down your spine…
