About
I am a technologist - a very skilled programmer, developer, problem solver, and quintessential early adopter. I also posses great communication and networking skills. I strive to be a thought leader and never stop exploring both the social and technical aspects of the internet.
As a developer, I have an ever increasing repertoire of languages under my belt including PHP, Python, Perl, C++, and even the obscure IDOC scripting language used in Oracle UCM. I have been doing an extended tango with HTML/CSS development, and specialize in scalable web application development through Javascript, AJAX, Comet, and other cutting edge techniques connecting to back end systems built using MVC methodologies and communicating with XML, JSON, and other standards. I am a Unix aficionado, having spent many an hour with Sun Solaris clusters, but do not limit myself - I am a predominately a Mac user, but am experienced with Windows and Linux as well.
On top of all that geeking out, I also hold the position of Associate Editor of MobileBurn.com, a high-traffic mobile industry news and reviews website. This position has allowed me the pleasure of traveling to many the foreign country, attending trade shows and meetings with the who's who of the mobile technology world. I have refined the craft of the written English language under one of the great masters of the online journalism industry, Michael F. Oryl.
