Most of the time, this will finish in a few minutes, though it can take longer depending on how busy Twitter is. Thankfully, you don't have to wait around. The system will send you an email when your timeline is ready to be downloaded.
Your Twitter username and email address are not stored, and your email address is only used to notify you when your timeline is ready.
Note: In no way does this delete any of your tweets, it merely lets you save a local copy of them. TweetDumpr will only work for public timelines - those with private timelines will need to temporarily unprotect their timelines for TweetDumpr to work.
